Springfield Trading Ltd, is the parent company of S-Mart Supermarket and has been one of Dominica's Leading distributors for over four decades with a wide range of popular brands such as Bermudez (Crix), Holiday (Cheese Stiks), Cadbury (chocolates), Spotless (bleach), Adams (gums), Duracell (batteries), S.M.J Products (to include Fruta and Busta), Fabuloso (floor cleaner), Suavitel (Fabric Softener), Colgate/Palmolive (Colgate toothpaste, mouthwashes, Palmolive dish liquid) to name a few.
After years of distributing products island-wide, the parent company decided to open a Wholesale Department which carried all the brands distributed by the Parent company. As the years progressed, the range of products increased even more, with some products competing with other popular brands on the island. After identifying a gap in the growing merchandised market and the lack of quality customer service and a one-stop shopping experience in a convenient environment Springfield Trading opened S-Mart Supermarket on December 11, 2022.
S-Mart is well known for a wide range of products, affordable prices, convenient parking, easy entry and exit from the compound both on Rawle's Avenue and E.O. LeBlanc Highway, ATM services, pay-as-you-go services, Top-up services, lottery services, a wide range of local fresh produce, and a wide variety of quality brands. With all these products and services offered, S-Mart's main objective is to highlight brands locally distributed by Springfield Trading Ltd and its sister company Belfast Estate.
